Before you begin
Start with clean, dry nails. Remove any polish, gently push back your cuticles, and lightly buff the surface so the adhesive has something to hold. Wipe each nail with the prep pad to remove oils.
Applying your set
- Size first. Lay the nails out and match each one to a finger before you apply anything. The correct size sits just inside your natural nail edge without pressing into the skin.
- Apply the adhesive. Use glue for the longest hold, or adhesive tabs if you want a shorter, gentler wear.
- Press and hold. Position at a slight downward angle from the cuticle, then press firmly for about thirty seconds per nail.
- Let them settle. Avoid water for the first hour so the bond sets fully.
Making them last
Wear gloves for washing up, avoid using your nails as tools, and keep long hot soaks brief. Applied well, a set typically lasts 15 to 20 days.
Removing without damage
Never pry a nail off from the tip. Soak your hands in warm soapy water for five to ten minutes, then gently lift each nail from the side edge using a cuticle stick. Clean any adhesive from the back of the press-on, let it dry, and store the set flat — it is ready to wear again.
